I have two theories on this:
1. It was someone that wanted to show the bias in the media with no connection to any campaign. They did it in spectacular fasion.
--OR-- (
Black Helicopter alert)
2. Karl Rove paid someone to do it with the instructions to get found out, if not caught. (I don't think the Bush Campaign is smart enough for this...)
This will discredit the old media, not only on this "issue", but for the whole election and beyond. Even if the Black Helicopters are hovering over The Qur'an Project bunker right now, the damage to the old media is done. They ran with it and Karl will look like a genius (again).
Someone just did the President (and the whole country) a very big favor.
