Actual Verse!
I have been reading, but not posting. The pace seems to have ground to a halt in that the stories of Moses and Noah seem to be retold ad nausem. Add the required "Allah is most merciful, most kind" and "a terrible price, indeed" and you have most of the last week's (or os) reading.

The following verse caught my eye and I not really sure why...

"(Remember also) Qarun, Pharaoh, and Haman: there came to them Moses with Clear Signs, but they behaved with insolence on the earth; yet they could not overreach (Us), Each of them We seized for his crime: of them, some were sent a violent tornado (with showers of stones; some were caught by a (mighty) Blast; some We caused the earth to swallow up; and some We drowned (in the waters): it was not Allah Who injured (or oppressed) them: they injured (and oppressed) their own souls."[Qur'an 29:39-40]

I guess that the thought that terrorists can read this and claim their actions were "the will of Allah" is enough for me to highlight this passage. As long as the dead are from the infidels, the killings are not a problem in the eyes of God.
